Shipping & Returns
We stand behind what we sell. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item within 30 days and we'll replace it or give you a refund. Please read "Returns" below for more information - bikes can only be returned if we shipped the wrong one.
Orders typically ship within three business day of being placed - exceptions can occur. Bikes are shipped through BikeFlights and require a signature upon delivery. In-store pickup is available for all items, including bikes.
We're currently experiencing a high volume of orders and shipping may be delayed - we cannot guarantee a delivery date.
Please note that some items may be subject to additional shipping and handling charges because of size or weight.
Shipping is free on all orders over $1000 (for the lower 48 states). We can ship to Hawaii and Alaska, however, shipping charges will apply - if you're a resident of one of these states, please contact us.
In-store pickup is free for all items, including bikes and oversized products. Most orders will be ready within one business day. Please keep in mind that some items may require additional processing time to transfer from off-site locations. Other items may require additional processing time for assembly. We will call or email you once your order is ready for pickup.
If you need an item right away, please call us to confirm that the product is available before heading over to our store. Unless special arrangements are made in advance, orders need to be picked up within 7 days or a 10% restocking fee will be charged.
We protect the security of your information during transmission by using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts all of the information you provide to us and prevents outside parties from being able to "see" your transaction information. When your account information is displayed on your screen, we only display the last five digits of your credit card numbers. You also have the choice of whether or not to save credit card information with us in your Online Account.
We sometimes use other companies (third-party service providers) to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include fulfilling orders and delivering packages. They need access to some personal information in order to perform their duties but may not use this information for other purposes.
Cranky’s Bike Shop accepts returns and exchanges on any unused items in their original packaging with all tags attached if received by us within 30 days from the original shipping date. Any items returned that have been installed, used or damaged will not be accepted. Every return will be inspected by Cranky's to assure the terms above are met.
Buyer is responsible to pay for return shipping.
Merchandise over $500 MUST be insured (buyer is responsible to pay for return shipping).
A re-stocking fee of 10% of the total amount of the sale will be charged to every return.
Return shipping charges, re-stocking fee and/or regular shipping cost will only waived on items shipped in error by Cranky’s Bike Shop.
To return an item, please follow these steps:
1. Email firstname.lastname@example.org and include the following information to obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA):
• Order Number
• Specify return type (return, exchange, warranty)
• Specify reason for return
• If exchanging, please specify brand, model and describe (color, size, design, etc.) the new item(s). If the exchange item you would like is unavailable, we will issue a refund.
2. Receive a RMA number following completion of the above email. Your RMA number will be emailed to you within 48 hours.
3. Box-up the item(s) you are returning with all original tags and packaging.
4. Write your RMA number in a visible place on the outside of the package.
5. Insure your package and obtain a tracking number from the shipping company. Insurance is mandatory if you're returning any merchandise over $500

All refunds will be applied to the original purchaser’s credit card once the returned item has been inspected by Cranky’s Bike Shop to ensure that it is unused, uninstalled and in original new condition along with the retail packaging. Refund notification will then be made via email. Please note that there can be a time difference between when Cranky’s Bike Shop applies a refund to the credit card versus when your credit card company processes and posts the request.
All merchandise sold by Cranky’s Bike Shop carries the full and original manufacturer’s warranty.
All warranty items must be inspected by Cranky’s Bike Shop and/or the item’s manufacturer to ensure that they are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty.
Labor fees, such as custom wheel builds or other services, are non-refundable.

Our website is intended to help you. We make every effort to maintain current, accurate prices in our online catalog. And we strive for similar accuracy and timeliness with the other information we offer here. However, inventory or pricing errors may occur, and we reserve the right to decline or cancel any orders where mistakes or discrepancies in price or stock status exist regardless of the source of the error.
